When he was twenty-one, Dean Patrick dropped out of Stanford to launch a hedge fund. The only problem? The night he announced the launch, he was locked in a psychiatric ward for drug-induced psychosis. Set in the pressure cooker of Stanford and the bucolic forests of upstate New York, God Money details Dean’s arrival at Stanford after a homeschooled upbringing in rural Washington state.
