Dean Patrick is the author of the memoir God Money: Lost and Found in the Crypto Wilderness (Alexandria Books, 2025).

He has worked for technology startups, directed a startup accelerator, and helped energy-policy researchers bring their work to a wider audience. His executive ghostwriting has appeared in American Banker, Forbes, and CoinDesk. He holds a B.A. in economics from Stanford University. In 2023, he completed a six-month monastic residency. He lives in Eugene, Oregon.

He is at work on a novel, Somewhere Outside Me.
